Baby Essentials

Ella’s about to turn one! I can’t believe it. I feel like every parent says this but the time really does fly by. I wanted to do a list of a few of my favorite baby items that I have loved during her first year. I’ve linked all of the items below, just click on the photos.

Pack N Play

Ella slept in our room for the first five months. I know that the recommended time frame to have baby co-sleep is six months to a year but this is what works for us. We used a Pack N Play that was right next to our bed. This made is easy for those middle of the night feedings. We still use this same Pack N play in our living room with some toys in it for when we need to keep her contained to one place while we’re cooking, cleaning, etc. since she’s crawling all over the place now.

Thule Jogging Stroller

I love this stroller. It’s lightweight which is great for getting it in and out of the car, traveling, and jogging. I don’t really run so much but Chris does and is training for a marathon and he takes Ella on runs with it when I’m at work. We’ve also gone to Las Vegas twice since Ella was born and we brought the stroller – no issues with it.

Bumbo Floor Seat

I loved the Bumbo for when Ella wasn’t able to sit up on her own yet. It allowed her to sit with us rather than just laying down or being held, especially when we were doing something and didn’t have enough hands to hold her.

Spectra Baby USA – S2 Plus Premier Electric Breast Pump, Double/Single, Hospital Strength

I breastfed Ella for the first five months before I went back to work. I started giving her a bottle around 2 months old so that I could do some self-care and get a manicure, dinner dates with Chris, lunch with girlfriends. I also knew that I would be starting back to work around 5-6 months after she was born and I wanted to get her used to taking a bottle so we would have an easier transition.
